Math Core II develops the structure, fluency, and reasoning students need to work confidently across equations, functions, polynomials, and advanced algebra.

*Summer terms meet twice weekly and complete the same 16-session course in eight weeks. Summer tuition is $600 per month.

This course is designed for students who

  • have dependable arithmetic foundations and are ready to reason with symbols and relationships
  • can follow algebraic procedures but need to understand why equivalent steps work
  • need greater control of equations, functions, polynomials, or advanced algebraic forms
  • are preparing for higher mathematics or SAT work that requires flexible algebraic thinking

Recommended progression

Next: Math Core III or SAT preparation

After Algebra Engine, students may continue into logic, proof, and geometry through Math Core III or enter the appropriate SAT mathematics sequence, subject to grade, goals, and instructor review.
